Responsibilities
- Taking and utilising resources provided by the Data Privacy team, you will act as the Data Privacy coordinator for new and existing projects across the Digital business
- Reviewing Digital projects as part of the Data Privacy Team to ensure compliance with Data Privacy laws
- Communicating with key stakeholders across the Digital business to coordinate projects
- Working alongside our external assessors to coordinate responses and remediation to pentests and vulnerability reports
- Coordinating audit reviews alongside the Data Privacy team, and facilitating remediation projects
- Coordinating the annual external risk and PCI assessments with members of the Digital team and across the wider Lush business
- Liaising with key Digital Team members and carrying out/assisting in Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for Digital projects
- Facilitating Data Privacy training for all Digital staff
- Maintaining policies and procedures to meet relevant Data Privacy guidelines
- Managing and reviewing vendor contracts on a rolling yearly basis
- Keeping evidential logs of activities carried out
- Promoting effective work practices and encouraging a culture of Data Privacy and security knowledge within the business
Skills and experience
- A good communicator, organised and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to process requests quickly, especially with regards to legal matters such as security incidents and customer data requests
- Willing to learn lots of new skills and ability to learn on the job
- Note that some travel will be required*
- Knowledge or previous experience working with GDPR/data privacy is preferred
- Experience working with data privacy in a customer facing business is preferred
- Experience working with pentests and scanning is preferred
The role

- The candidate will be working remotely but there will be some travel required to our head office in Poole.

Location: Newbury (Hybrid working)
Role purpose
To maintain standards including ISO14001 and support ISO50001 certification across all applicable UK sites and operations, supporting with
- policies and procedures,
- objectives and targets,
- communications,
- training,
- emergency preparedness,
- monitoring and measurement,
- audits
- management review.
What will you be doing?
Accountable for the effective implementation and maintenance of the Vodafone Environmental Management Systems and UK certification to ISO14001.
Identification of upcoming new legislative requirements and support business to ensure full compliance obtained.
Managing communications and reporting to stakeholders including employees (internal comms), senior management, customers, Vodafone Group, regulators.
Incident response, including site visits where required.
Managing the internal environmental audit programme and facilitating external audits at Vodafone sites across the UK.
Who are we looking for?
Significant, relevant experience
Membership of a recognised Environmental professional body. (e.g. IEMA)
Excellent working knowledge of ISO 14001 systems and experience of implementation
Excellent working knowledge of environmental legislation and industry standards
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- You have experience in identifying, debugging and resolving issues.
